Relax in the comfort of your own home, with your favorite happy hour beverage to learn more about our featured author, John Cribb and his work.

Cribb is best know for his non-fiction collaborations with educator William Bennett and his years with the Justice Department during the Reagan years but now has written a compelling novel, OLD ABE, that explores the last five years of Lincoln's presidency.

John Cribb is a best selling author who has written about subjects ranging from history to education. His previous work includes co-authoring The American Patriot's Almanac andThe Educated Child, both New York Times bestsellers; co-editing The Human Obyssey, a 3-volume world history text, and developing on-line history courses. His writing has been published in The Wall Street JournalUSA Today, the Chicago TribuneNational Review Online and several other publications.

During the Reagan administration, John worked at the Department of Justice, the Department of Education and the National Endowment for the Humanities, A Native of Spartanburg, SC, John studied literature at Vanderbilt University. He serves on the Spartanburg County Public Libraries and the Board of Directors of the Hub City Writers Project, an award-winning publisher of Southern fiction and non-fiction. John and his wife, Kirsten, are the proud parents of two daughters, Molly and Sarah.
