New Event Just ADDED!

 Birds and Berries Walk

with the The Audubon Society

at the Audubon Newhall Preserve

The Audubon Society would like to introduce our members to the Audubon Newhall Preserve and it's history and the special ecosystems that exist.

Led by Master Naturalist Debbie Boots, an experienced naturalist and birder on the Island.

Goal: To introduce members to the storybook Audubon Newhall Preserve and its history, special ecosystems, aquatic plants and yellow-bellied sliders (turtles) in the picturesque pond.  Your guide will explain how migrating birds depend on the berries of rescued native plants for strength to complete their migration twice a year.  Preserve address:  55 Palmetto Bay Road, Hilton Head across from Grayco's (Do not use GPS)
